The site www.happyhoam.com processes privacy-sensitive data, or personal data. We consider careful handling of personal data of great importance. Personal data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

We use office automation packages for this purpose, as a result of which your data is stored in the database of these packages. We have a processing agreement with the suppliers of these packages. We store and use only the personal data provided directly by you, in the context of the service you have requested, or for which it is clear at the time of submission that it will be provided to us for processing. We use the following data for the purposes set out in this privacy statement:

This personal data is used by us to execute agreements, to improve our services, and to promote communication with relations.
We enter into a processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for these processing operations. Our employees are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.
We do not process any special or sensitive personal data.

Contact form and newsletter
We offer through our service the possibility to ask questions through a contact form, where you will be asked to fill in various data to handle your query. You choose which data you provide in the process. The data you send us are kept as long as is necessary, according to the nature of the form or the content of your e-mail, for a full response and processing.
We offer a newsletter through which we wish to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Each newsletter contains a link allowing you to unsubscribe. Your e-mail address is automatically added to the list of subscribers.
Publish
We do not publish your customer data.
Disclosure to third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless it is necessary for any of the processing purposes listed under the Purposes and bases heading or our services.
As part of the performance of our services, we may share personal data with third parties, for example with property owners, owners' associations, trade information agencies, maintenance companies, ICT service providers, bailiffs and credit rating agencies such as Economic Data Resources B.V. (EDR). Thus, EDR will give an opinion on your creditworthiness based on this data. Once you are a residential tenant, our client may choose to periodically check your data against the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Act and Sanctions Act. Such processing activities are subject to specific privacy notices of the TBA entity providing the services to you.
If data is shared with third parties, an appropriate agreement will be concluded between the TBA entity concerned and the relevant third party for this purpose.

Cookies are used on our service. Cookies are also set via third parties engaged by us.
When you visit our service for the first time, a notice will be displayed explaining why we use cookies. We take your continued use of our service as consent to this use of cookies.

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our service. We have signed a processing agreement with Google to agree on how to handle our data. Furthermore, we have not allowed Google to use the obtained Analytics information for other Google services, finally we have the IP addresses anonymized.

We take security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data.
Automated decision-making
We do not use automated tools to make decisions about individuals.
Retention periods and Location
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which your data is collected, to serve our legitimate interests and for as long as we are required to do so by law.
If we process your personal data to answer a question from you, we will keep that data for four weeks so that we can answer possible follow-up questions or address any complaint.
We store your personal data on servers in the Netherlands.
For sending newsletters, we use Mailchimp with whom we have a processing agreement. Mailchimp complies with the AVG through the EU-US Privacy Shield.
To deliver our services in the best possible way, we use supplier systems.

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites linked to our service through links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties will handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of these websites before using them.

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of these changes.
Access and change your data

You can also send us a request to view, amend or delete this data. You can also make a request to request a data export for data we use with your consent, or indicate with justification that you want us to restrict the processing of personal data.
