Living Experience & Community

  • There are two layouts: two-zone and studio.

  • All apartments are semi-furnished, featuring built-in kitchens, closets, wallpaper, curtains, and flooring. Tenants also have the option to install their own washing machine. Additionally, each apartment comes with a slatted bed frame, so you’ll only need to bring your own mattress.

  • Each apartment comes with a fridge, freezer, oven/microwave, induction stove, and dishwasher.

  • We partner with Utility Direct to simplify your utility setup. You can find them in the resident application.

  • Yes, you can personalize your space. However, drilling, painting, or changing installations is not allowed.

  • Use your apartment tag to access shared spaces, such as the living room. You'll receive a tag upon move-in. For other facilities, you will be provided with a tag for access.

  • Yes! Events are announced regularly via our resident application and displayed in the living room.

  • Parcel delivery services are centralized for convenient pickup via myPup. You'll find the locker in one of the main entrance halls—a safe and secure way to retrieve packages.

     

  • Once you become a Domūs resident, you'll be invited to join our resident application—a digital platform for all your residency needs. Through the app, you can:

    Chat with Tenant Ambassadors.

    Submit maintenance requests.

    Stay updated on community events.

    You can also visit the on-site office in the living room during weekdays.

  • Community spirit is essential at Domūs. Upon move-in, you'll receive an invitation to join the Community WhatsApp group. Here, you can join community groups and easily connect with your neighbors.

  • Cooking Studio: A communal kitchen on the 5th floor with panoramic views.

    Guest Bedroom: Bookable for short stays for friends or family.

    Bikes: Two complimentary bikes in the bike storage.

    Bike Storage & Parking: Ample, secure bike storage and parking spots.

    Storage Units: Available in some apartments.

    Laundry Room: Easily do your laundry with our Miele washing machines using the appWash.

  • Domūs is conveniently connected to Amsterdam via bus lines 48 and 22.

Renting an Apartment

  • Register via HappyHoam. Our rental agency will contact you and provide more information about our available viewings, which we host on weekdays.

  • To be eligible for an apartment, you:

    Are interested in a community-focused living environment.

    Have a gross monthly salary of at least three times the base rent.

    Commit to renting for at least one year.

  • Register via HappyHoam and await contact from our rental agency.

    Submit the required documents for evaluation.

    Open a paid account with VerhuurtBeter, and you will receive a refund once you have signed a rental agreement. By upgrading to a premium account, you will also gain access to the waitlist.

    Your application will be assessed fairly based on demand and eligibility.

  • Yes! Our rental agency offers 3D tours and videos for all apartment types.

  • Even if you don't secure an apartment immediately, joining the waitlist is worthwhile. New apartments become available each month, increasing your chances.

  • A valid ID.

    Proof of income (e.g., payslips).

    An employment contract.

  • A security deposit equivalent to one- or two-months’ rent is required, depending on individual circumstances.

  • Domūs offers fixed-term rental agreements for at least one year, with a one-month termination notice period.

  • Yes, parking is available with a one-year contract, which expires when the rental agreement ends. The monthly fee is €225. Additionally, we offer day passes for daily parking.

  • After signing your contract, you'll receive an email with details and an invitation to schedule a key handover.

  • Yes. We ask you to pay attention to designated areas for disposing of trash and parking temporary moving vehicles along the Haparandaweg.

  • The measurements vary depending on the apartment type.
